A Lacoste Presented your collection Fall 2026 Ready-to-Wear During the Paris Fashion Week, at a parade held on the court Philippe Chatrier, in the complex of Roland Garros. Under the creative direction of Pelagia Kolotouros, the presentation was based on a historical episode linked to the founder René Lacoste, connecting sport, memory and functionality in the development of the collection.

The inspiration came from a match of Davis Cup Disputed in Deauville in 1923. During the game between René Lacoste And the Spanish Manuel de Gomar, a storm interrupted the match and forced players and spectators to use umbrellas, trench coats, and raincoats while waiting for the resumption of the game. The episode ended up becoming a symbol of the relationship between sport and resistance to weather conditions, an idea that guided the narrative of the collection presented in Paris.

This historical reference also appeared on the parade stage. The court and grandstands were covered with a large ocher canvas similar to those used to protect the clay of the tennis courts on rainy days. The setting reinforced the climate theme of the collection, which explores pieces designed to face different weather conditions, especially trench coats, ponchos inspired by the polo shirt and waterproof technical pieces developed in collaboration with the British brand Mackintosh, known for the use of waterproof fabrics since the 19th century.

Throughout the collection, Pelagia Kolotouros it also introduced references to sportswear from the 1980s through large volumes, technical nylon and new interpretations of the brand's classic pieces. The color palette accompanies this narrative, combining dark and metallic tones with green and red that refer to the grass and clay of Roland Garros after the rain.

Within this aesthetic context, the brand also presents new versions of the sneaker Lacoste Spinor, a model that explores a more experimental approach to shoe design by the French house. The sneaker stands out for its bulky midsole with an undulating design and technology A.D.S. (Shock Absorption), developed to provide cushioning and lightness. The upper combines technical materials such as breathable mesh, jacquard and nubuck, in addition to chromatic variations that transition between monochrome tones and gradients.
