Sasha Meneghel launched her long-awaited fashion brand, Mondepars (a combination of “world” and “part”, in French), with her Debut Collection, at Mula Preta, in São Paulo.
The collection, characterized by its contemporary style, is comprised of versatile and timeless pieces, reflecting a minimalist wardrobe with essential choices that can be used in a variety of ways or even shared.
The opening fashion show was attended by several celebrities, including Xuxa, Bruna Marquezine, Iza, Luciano Szafir, and Junno, who honored Sasha's creations. The stylist's mother, Xuxa, was thrilled, praised her daughter and shared her happiness:
“She's making her dream come true. It's pure pride, I'm bursting with pride, mainly because I know that people will see, applaud, and she will give more, more and more. I know the potential she has.”
During the event, Xuxa also highlighted Sasha's concern for sustainability, evidenced by the use of cactus leather in some pieces, demonstrating her commitment to nature. In a conversation, she emphasized her daughter's thoroughness in creating the pieces, from the price to the interior finishes, designed so that both men and women could wear the clothes.
Graduated in fashion from the Parsons School of Design in New York, Sasha focused her studies on the social, historical and industrial aspects of fashion, in addition to the connections between the fashion market and the environment. Her career includes an internship with Lenny Niemeyer, which influenced her decision to pursue a career in fashion.
Mondepars presents high-quality pieces, mostly genderless, and with classic models. One of the fundamental pillars of the brand is to create durable clothes that can be used in multiple ways. Sasha Meneghel asserted her love for fashion at an early age and, after more than two years of research and planning, introduced her brand to the world with the Debut Collection.
