How Complete works

A newsroom, a technology and a studio, in one place

Complete is a Brazilian new-media publisher covering fashion, beauty, design, culture and innovation, and it builds its own three-dimensional imaging technology. This page explains what each part is, who it serves and how one connects to the next.

The newsroom

Complete publishes daily on fashion, beauty, design, culture, innovation and, since August 2026, cinema, series, theatre and festivals. Stories run in five languages, Portuguese, English, Spanish, French and German, at the same address, and the site picks the language by the reader’s region.

The writers are columnists with a track record in what they cover: a researcher in fashion and decoloniality, a designer with twenty-five years in product, the founder of a regenerative economy lab, an actor with thirteen years on stage. The rule is simple and applies to everyone: those who do, write.

The search that answers

Beyond the ordinary search box, which looks for words in stories, Complete has Ask Complete: you ask a question in plain language and get an answer built from the house archive, along with the stories that support it.

It is for people who do not know the name of what they are looking for. Asking which Brazilian brands work with textile waste returns an answer and the path to read each one. That is different from a keyword search, which only finds what you already knew how to spell.

Try it now, against the real archive.

3D and augmented reality

Complete builds three-dimensional products that readers spin with a finger inside the story, and can place in their own space through the phone camera, with no app to install.

This is not illustration: it is the real product, modelled from the brand’s pieces, with material, stitching and finish. On a story page, it is the difference between seeing a photo of a sneaker and turning the sneaker. On a shop page, it is the difference between imagining the size of an armchair and seeing it in your own room.

Complete Studio

The Studio is the arm that produces. A brand sends its pieces, the Studio models them in three dimensions, builds the augmented reality experience and publishes the result on Complete, with the story that tells it.

More than a hundred projects have gone through it, with brands including L’Oréal, Renner, Kérastase, Ricardo Almeida, WeWork and Camicado. What the brand takes away is not only the file: it is the piece published in an editorial outlet, which is what makes the difference to a reader.

Complete Dashboard

The Dashboard is the version a brand runs on its own. It uploads product photos, receives the three-dimensional model and pastes a ready-made snippet into its own site, the same way you paste a video. The first product is free.

The difference from the Studio is who does the work. In the Studio, Complete produces and publishes. In the Dashboard, the brand produces and uses it wherever it wants. Both run on the same technology.

How the parts connect

The newsroom shows what the technology does, inside the stories themselves, with no advertisement. Anyone who sees the object spinning on the page understands the product in two seconds, which is more than any sales copy achieves.

The Studio produces for brands and publishes on Complete, which gives the brand an editorial place and the house content no one else has. The Dashboard opens the same technology to those who want to run it themselves. AI search runs across all of it, because it reads the whole archive.

That is why the house calls itself a new-media publisher rather than an agency or a traditional outlet: neither word on its own describes a place where the content and the technology are made by the same people.
