The exhibition “The Human Soul, You, and Jung's Universe” will run until March 22, 2026 at the Museum of Image and Sound, in São Paulo, expanding the debate on mental health and self-knowledge.
The exhibition “The Human Soul, You, and Jung's Universe”, playing at Museum of Image and Sound, in São Paulo, surpassed the mark of 73,000 visitors and was extended until March 22, 2026. Dedicated to the legacy of Carl Gustav Jung, the exhibition covers 550 m² and offers an experience that combines pedagogical content, sensory installations and stimuli for individual reflection.
Created by Luciana Branco, Flavio Vieira and Camila Whitaker, curated by IJEP — Jungian Institute for Teaching and Research, the exhibition is part of the celebrations of Jung's 150th birthday, celebrated in 2025. The Swiss psychiatrist, who visited more than 15 countries over eight decades of research, developed concepts such as the collective unconscious, the basis of Jungian psychology and a point of distinction in relation to the Freudian tradition.
The exhibition organizes the exhibition itinerary in three complementary dimensions. The first is pedagogical, with accessible explanations about central concepts of Jung's work. The second is sensory, through installations that trigger visual and spatial stimuli. The third is provocative, structured based on questions addressed to the visitor, inviting introspection. The proposal communicates directly with the current global mental health crisis scenario, positioning self-knowledge as a tool for individual and collective understanding.

Public performance reinforces interest in exhibitions that combine academic content, accessible language, and immersive experiences. In a context in which museums compete for attention with digital platforms and entertainment on demand, initiatives that articulate education, culture, and physical experience tend to expand institutional relevance. The show's extended stay at Museum of Image and Sound signals that movement.
The program is carried out by the Ministry of Culture and the Government of the State of São Paulo, through the Secretariat of Culture, Economy and Creative Industry, within the Federal Law on Incentive to Culture. The exhibition is in partnership with Weleda and institutional support from Editora Vozes, Focus Textile Institute, Jungian Association of Brazil, in addition to media support from UOL And from JCDecaux.
