Starting June 5, Friday, at 9 p.m., at Tucarena (Perdizes, São Paulo), Ana Lúcia Torre returns to the stage with "Olhos nos Olhos". Written and directed by Sergio Módena, the play celebrates the actress's 80 years of life and 60 years of career, weaving her personal trajectory together with the work of Chico Buarque de Holanda.
The production is by Morente Forte Produções Teatrais, which reaches 40 years of continuous work on the Brazilian theater scene, a milestone that echoes the play's own celebration. In Ana Lúcia Torre's hands, Chico Buarque's lyrics take on the shape of narrative: a show that unites personal memory and song.
