In Paris, MISCI and VEJA celebrated the international launch of an unprecedented collaboration. Last Friday, May 28, 2026, VEJA's store in the Marais district hosted the event, marking a concrete step for the Brazilian label toward foreign markets.
The partnership reinterprets VEJA's retro-running Paulistana model in a bolder, more Brazilian reading. The asymmetric sneaker draws on two traits of the national landscape: the rivers of the Amazon and the dunes of Atins translate into earthy tones, robust soles, pirarucu leather and a play of textures.
Created by Airon Martin, born in Brazil's Amazon territory, MISCI is an emerging brand investigating the intersection of technique, culture and ecology. It takes miscegenation as a creative and critical force to build visual narratives in which clothing and design work as an expanded space for identity and reflection, underpinned by research into sustainability and low-impact materials.
