Ermanno Scervino: dress as a writing of the feminine
In the setting of a hotel room, a transitory space where identity strips itself bare and remakes itself, the soft, enveloping light gives a raw texture, a breath of authenticity that runs through the aesthetic narrative.

Ermanno Scervino's Spring/Summer 2025 campaign takes shape as a visual essay on femininity in its dialectic between the intimate and the public, the conscious and the vulnerable. In the setting of a hotel room, a transitory space where identity strips itself bare and remakes itself, the soft, enveloping light gives a raw texture, a breath of authenticity that runs through the aesthetic narrative.

Natalia Vodianova, muse and interpreter of this collection, embodies a femininity that swings between control and abandon. The inspiration in the cinema of the 1970s is not mere stylistic device, but a mechanism that structures the relationship between body, space and clothing. Here fashion does not merely dress, it choreographs gestures, states of mind, atmospheres.
Everyday elements, such as the couture cotton shirt and the muslin bra with Valenciennes lace, intertwine with meticulously crafted pieces, the dévoré jacket, the printed scuba jacket, composing a visual vocabulary that floats between the ordinary and the sublime.

This campaign treats fashion as a field of tension and freedom, where aesthetics becomes narrative and dressing becomes a gesture of writing. Ermanno Scervino thus does not merely present a collection: he inscribes into the fabric of the present an imagination in which dressing is always an act of telling stories.
