On June 6, Saturday, at 6 p.m., Estação Motiva Cultural devotes the afternoon to Jocy de Oliveira: a chamber concert, the premiere of the documentary "Universo Circular, Jocy de Oliveira" and a conversation with the honoree and director Dácio Pinheiro.
A composer, pianist, writer and stage director, Jocy de Oliveira is one of the central references of Brazilian contemporary music, and it's this trajectory that Dácio Pinheiro's documentary, co-produced with SescTV, sets out to record at its premiere. Before the screening, the audience follows a conversation between Pinheiro and Jocy herself.
Estação Motiva Cultural exists through a partnership between the Osesp Foundation, the São Paulo State Government and the Ministry of Culture, via the Cultural Incentive Law.
