Fabiana Milazzo presents Sakura

The Sakura collection by Fabiana Milazzo, presented at Casa Bontempo with styling by Pedro Sales, takes the Japanese hanami as its conceptual starting point. More than an aesthetic motif, the ritual of contemplating cherry blossom guides decisions of form, technique and material.

The development goes beyond the application of the floral. Kimonos appear deconstructed and reinterpreted as jumpsuits, dresses and blouses; embossed leathers translate kanji characters; and organzas, stonework and three-dimensional embroidery result from processes of high technical level that take days or weeks to execute.

The collection balances tradition and innovation. The Japanese cultural reference is taken into both the cut and the finishes, while the use of Liquid fabric, exclusive to the label in Brazil, brings lightness and shine, making structured volumes possible.

The creative range runs from denim to couture, joining artisanal processes to state-of-the-art materials. Sakura consolidates a working method based on technical rigour, precision of cut and control of form, exploring how natural and technological elements can coexist in the same fashion product.
