The 16th Curitiba International Biennial hasn't officially opened its doors yet, but the city is already living the mood of the show. Between June 9 and 16, the Paraná capital hosts Curitiba Art Week, a week that stirs galleries, museums, studios and independent spaces into a collective warm-up for the Biennial.
Opening the program, Sève Art unveils "INTERLÚDIO Sève", the first in a sequence of openings taking over the city's galleries. The show investigates the territory between matter, silence and perception, ground that contemporary art keeps insisting on revisiting.
The gallery also joins the group show "Mapa Aberto", at the Salão Brasil of Curitiba City Hall, where artists Nani Silveira and Carlos Januário present "Organóides Bios II" and "Organóides Bios VI".
