Kenner presented an unprecedented collaboration with visual artist Saturno, the artistic name of Emerson Rocha, on Wednesday, February 25. The partnership results in two special versions of the Rakka and Red sandals, integrating recurring elements of the artist's work into the brand's technical design. The launch was celebrated at a gathering at Kenner's showroom in Vila Madalena, São Paulo.
Founded in Rio de Janeiro, Kenner has established itself in the Brazilian market through a positioning focused on comfort, durability, and urban aesthetics. In recent years, the brand has expanded its cultural presence through collaborations and activations that engage with music, art, and sports. The approach to Saturno is part of this strategic movement to connect with visual narratives that represent the experiences of the black population in Brazil.

The collection incorporates recurring symbols in the artist's work, such as the golden rose and the star, applied to the insole and graphic details. One of the models features an illustration of a black boy with closed eyes and wings formed by the brand's "K". The Rakka emerges in off-white with a golden finish and a vulcanized rubber outsole. Meanwhile, the Red maintains its waterproof structure and adopts the blue tone developed by Saturno since 2023, a hue that has become a visual signature in its recent production.

The launch takes place at a time when collaborations between brands and artists have assumed a relevant role in constructing symbolic value in the Brazilian fashion market. By integrating authorial art into widely circulated products, initiatives like this one expand the reach of visual narratives linked to identity, belonging, and youth. In the footwear sector, this type of partnership has been used as a tool for cultural differentiation and strategic repositioning.
The sandals are already available on the Kenner e-commerce platform and in partner multibrand stores. The expectation is that the collaboration will strengthen the brand's presence among new audiences, while maintaining its consolidated base in national retail.
