Moda Tech opens a public call for creators exploring technology and innovation

Sponsored by Instituto C&A, the Moda Tech project begins its second edition with a new cycle of training and experiment aimed at creators interested in the intersection of fashion, art, education and technology. Applications are open until 4 July and the initiative returns to São Paulo in November, with a 12-day in-person programme that includes talks, workshops, exhibitions and a technological runway show open to the public.

The new edition keeps the hybrid format and reaffirms a commitment to building a fashion market that is more inclusive and connected to contemporary practice. Under the mentorship of Vitorino Campos, a Bahian designer who has worked with labels such as Animale, CORI and ÁGUA DE COCO, the project will select 12 participants, six by invitation and six through public selection, for a journey of creative development focused on authorial fashion and applied technology.

Beyond the training, those selected join the IC&AVC Community, a network articulated by Instituto C&A with a focus on impact businesses, professional connections and access to opportunities such as microcredit and seed investment. The aim is to widen not only the training, but also the concrete possibilities of entering the market.

No degree in the field is required to take part. You need only be over 18 and send sketches, texts and contact details through the official site modatech.co.
