On June 13, 2026, Rio de Janeiro visual artist Rodrigo Borges opens the exhibition "O Jardim da Memória" at the Lago Gallery of the Museu da República. Free admission, the show is centered on the panel of the same name: 1.50 m tall by 14.4 m long, in mixed technique combining drawings and text, accompanied by 24 preparatory graphite studies. It runs through September 6, curated by Isabel Portella.

"O Jardim da Memória" follows the journey of a character, Memory, portrayed by a child who enters the garden in search of a forgotten memory. The panel incorporates real elements of the museum, the gate, the clock, the chair, the palace facade, weaving direct connections between the physical space and the fictional universe created by the artist.
