At CASACOR São Paulo 2026, Marcos Serrano Miralles Arquitetura presents Spa Raízes, a 60-square-meter environment that expands the very idea of the bathroom. The space stops being a pass-through area to take on the role of refuge, where the bathing ritual leads the visitor to a slower relationship with their own body and with time.

The project reads the show's theme, "Mente e Coração", through the idea of return. Amid the accelerated pace of urban life, Marcos proposes an environment of retreat inspired by the symbolic strength of roots: origin and support made material from the floor pattern to the light filtered through the ceiling.
"Spa Raízes was born as an invitation to pause. I wanted to create an environment where daily care would step out of autopilot and gain presence," says the architect.
