Check, in its variations of whispers and shouts, spills from the almost timid small scale to the grand and multicoloured, like stained glass in movement. There is a calculated gesture of freedom in the lines, a listening to the body in its plurality. Tailoring, here, is also language: and monochrome a way of speaking without shouting. For the men, daily life gains new breath in jackets, shorts and sweatshirts, translated into bands of the same check that unfolds into rhythms. Everything is inscribed on the body as the map of a hybrid, urban, pulsing territory. It is a collection that presents itself in the verb to wear, but does not surrender to the obvious. À La Garçonne, in its new breath, does not seek only to dress, it insinuates. It reinvents itself without fanfare, marking its return like someone coming home after seeing the world.
