SPFW N59: possible futures

Celebrating three decades of creativity and transformation, São Paulo Fashion Week begins the celebrations of its 30 years with the N59 edition, which runs from 6 to 11 April 2025. More than an event, SPFW reaffirms its role as a platform of innovation and experiment, bringing together a powerful line-up that translates the diversity and force of Brazilian fashion.

In this edition, the freshness of new voices mixes with the legacy of established labels. Leandro Castro and MNMAL debut on the runway, bringing proposals that balance technology, sustainability and sophisticated aesthetics. Leandro, with his hybrid approach that unites discarded materials and artisanal processes, shows on 9 April. MNMAL, by Flávio Gamaum, brings its refined essentialism to the show on the 10th.

Another major moment of this edition is the return of Piet, by Pedro Andrade, known for its sophisticated streetwear and authentic connection with urban culture. Beyond that, iconic names such as Aluf, Dendezeiro, Patricia Viera and João Pimenta reinforce the creative diversity of the event, moving between avant-garde tailoring, innovative textile research and narratives that give new meaning to Brazilian identity.

The city also becomes a runway with shows in outdoor locations, creating immersive experiences that widen the connections between fashion, art and urban culture. With striking presentations by João Pimenta, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Aluf, Handred, Patricia Viera and Piet, SPFW N59 reinforces the transversality of fashion and its capacity to speak with different settings and audiences.

More than celebrating the past, this edition of São Paulo Fashion Week opens paths towards possible futures, reaffirming fashion as a powerful language of expression and transformation. SPFW N59 is the first chapter of a historic celebration that will go on surprising and inspiring.
