At the 60th edition of São Paulo Fashion Week, Normando reaffirms its place as one of the most compelling labels of the contemporary scene by presenting the collection “Mito ou Fauna”, a narrative that turns the Amazonian imagination into a language of fashion, technology and sustainable luxury.

Created by designer Marco Normando and visual artist Emídio Contente, the label born in the north of the country has, since its founding, challenged the stereotypes attached to regional aesthetics, proposing a sophisticated and futurist reading of Amazonian identity.

In “Mito ou Fauna”, Normando crosses the ground between the natural and the imagined, between the human body and the beings of the forest. On the runway, the Cobra Grande, the Mapinguari, the Rasga Mortalha, the giant water lily and the cicada appear as reconfigured archetypes, not as exotic folklore, but as visual languages of power, protection and reinvention. Those beings, so present in the collective memory of the north, are treated by Normando as aesthetic and conceptual material.
