SPFW N59: Lino Villaventura

Under a sky of scenographic storm, Lino Villaventura stitched mythologies with the needle of memory and the thread of invention. Fabrics whispered old secrets in micro-pleated silk, cottons that knew the ground and snakeskins reborn as maps of colour.

The runway becomes rite, and the models woodland nymphs, walking in greens, browns and the purples of a night flower. Their dresses danced with the air, made more of wind than of cloth. Every piece a story embroidered by hand: Carmelita wore a mosaic of patches that seemed to have dreamed colours. Between cuts, ribs and structures, the body gained architecture. Wearable art. Clothing that pulses. Moda as enchantment.

The menswear collection, urban in soul, walked firmly between streetwear and the spirit of an industrial forest. Soft khakis met sporting lines, quilted capes in fluorescent tones flickered like the light of a night city. The sneakers, almost totemic, carried the label's identity in their steps. At the end, absolute black took the scene, not as absence but as volume, a shadow that reveals relief, a texture felt with the eyes.

Lino states here that even silence can be exuberant. And that fashion, for him, is always more than clothing: it is a gesture, a sculpture in movement, a spell woven by hand.
