During Mondepars' winter season, the Alda collection occupies this second territory by turning the runway into a space of memory, heritage, and symbolic reconstruction. Conceived by Sasha Meneghel, the collection springs from an intimate engagement with the trajectory of her grandmother, Alda Meneghel, artist, costume designer, painter, seamstress, and creator whose influence permeates her family history.

The starting point of the collection lies in Alda's own trajectory, marked by movements, reinventions and creative freedom. Born in Santa Rosa, Rio Grande do Sul, her childhood was crossed by losses and changes that led her through different universes. Between living with a gypsy group, passing through a convent and building a family alongside Luiz Meneghel, Alda developed a worldview shaped by experimentation, autonomy and imagination. This multiplicity of experiences appears in the collection as a conceptual element. Instead of illustrating specific episodes, Sasha transforms these references into sophisticated visual codes that run throughout the presentation, establishing a dialogue between individual memory and contemporary language.
