The choice of the venue, the greatest symbol of Brazilian carnival, served not only as a backdrop but as a runway for a discussion about Brazil as a territory of breathing and life reorganization. For those observing from outside, the country is pause and lightness; for those from here, the party is the structure that allows one to continue despite everything.
By becoming the first fashion brand to walk the avenue, the label turns a suspended space into a field of cultural experimentation that fuses fashion, architecture, and the vital pulse of Beija-Flor's drum section.
The design of the Summer 27 collection springs from a tension between perception and reality, revisiting the 1970s Rio de Janeiro imagination. The figure of Gal Costa, muse of Dunas do Barato, emerges as a driving force behind an aesthetic marked by freedom of expression and the meeting of inland landscapes with the mythical coast. On the blue runway evoking the sea horizon, the narrative took shape through a carnival tailoring that reinterprets blazers and suits with new proportions. The Airon Martin line incorporated silk into classic constructions, resulting in fluid, lightweight pieces that move with the inherent rhythm of the tropical climate.

The color palette and material research reflect a continued commitment to handcrafting and low‑impact textile innovation. Shades of olive green, earthy browns, and saturated blues coexist with prints inspired by the everyday life of Rio de Janeiro beaches and the aerial view of the city.

One of the major highlights is the development of a plant‑based leather made from grass, which retains the natural fibers and irregularities on a durable surface. Additionally, the brand repurposes discarded fishing nets into fabrics and accessories, reinforcing the notion of continuity and transformation that runs through every sculptural gesture of this season.
