RioFW 2026 — Helô Rocha

There is a restlessness that runs through the collection like an invisible thread, pulling the idea of the feminine into a territory where myth is not fantasy, but expanded memory. On the runway, what emerges is not dressed bodies, but wearable narratives: weary goddesses, earthly sirens, women who carry time not as a weight, but as language. Helô does not correct the material, she listens to it. And in this gesture, she transforms wear and tear into design, flaw into intention, ruin into permanence.

What could easily slide into the romanticism of the "imperfect" finds here a rigor that is almost obstinate. There is a textile intelligence that underpins the delirium. Laces overlap in meticulous layers, stitched with Renaissance-style stitches over the tulle as if they were sprouting directly from the skin — not applied, but born there.

O projeto ganha densidade nos bordados de Timbaúba, desenvolvidos com o Instituto Riachuelo, que inserem um Brasil artesanal no centro de uma narrativa contemporânea sem folclorização. Volumes no quadril, saias que deslizam em silhuetas de sereia, corsets que estruturam sem aprisionar e uma alfaiataria que parece ter passado por um filtro de sonho: tudo coexiste nesse equilíbrio delicado entre técnica e intuição.

Sedas, organzas e tafetás encontram lençóis antigos, toalhas herdadas, tecidos que já viveram outras vidas. Existe algo quase íntimo nesse encontro entre o novo e o que insiste em permanecer. Os brancos, os marfins, os translúcidos criam um campo de silêncio onde as marcas (manchas, desgastes, irregularidades) deixam de ser ruído e viram centro. É uma coleção que não grita presença; ela se infiltra. As anáguas, as camisolas ressignificadas, as sobreposições de miçangas e pedrarias capturam a luz com uma delicadeza calculada, como se soubessem exatamente quando aparecer e quando desaparecer.
